Drone Categories

In India, drones in most countries have been divided into 5 categories. The smallest of them, nano and micro drones are the least restrictive to fly.

Nano Drones

Any drone that has less than 250 grams of weight will be categorized as a nano drone. The main benefit of such drones is that their usage is much less restricted because they are considered toy drones. No registration or license is required to fly these drones. But this does not mean that you can fly them anywhere, anytime.
